· Make sure that CPU’s switch is turned off when inserting the devices (hardware) like power supply, in the computer so that there is no risk of getting electrocuted.
· When connecting printer make sure the main power cable is connected properly because you can wreck the printer by damaging it.
· When lifting printer or any other heavy devices, make sure that you bend your knees so that you don’t put too much weight on your body.
· Be careful of the sharp edges of parts like motherboard because you might cut yourself.
· To make sure that the components don’t get zapped attach a static mat to the body of the CPU so that it prevents it from static shock.
· Wash your hands after using the keyboard, and don’t drink or eat near the computer because you might damage it.
· When installing a disk, make sure that it has no viruses attached which can affect the pc.
· When holding a disk, hold it from the edges and not from the middle so that it doesn’t get any fingerprints on it and damages itself.
· Make sure you backup you data somewhere so it is safe in case if it gets lost.
